The Columbus Dream Center (formerly Better Way Ministries) is a 25+ year street ministry and mission work founded by Steve Campbell and his wife, Wanda.  The Columbus Dream Center stands as a place of hope for homeless and poor in the City of Columbus.

 

Total Health is a US based organization that partners with churches throughout Latin America to provide high quality, consistent and reliable medical care in Central America. Through quality health care, safe housing programs, sanitation improvements and education we can dramatically change the health of the people we serve.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

The link below will take you to our race management partner's website.  While 100% of your race entry cost will go to our benefactors thanks to our wonderful sponsors, you will incur a small processing fee from our race management company.

NEW!  5K / 1 MILE WALK - JUST ONE PRICE for Zoo members and Non-members!  While the cost is the same for all runners and walkers this year regardless of Zoo membership ($35 before 8/15, $40 thereafter, $45 race day) , we do ask that Zoo members bring their membership card to save us money on administrative costs so that we can give more of your registration money to the benefactors!  Non-Zoo member registrants will receive their entry ticket(s) at packet pickup.

KIDS MASCOT RUN (9 yrs and under), now just $10, will be around the pond inside the Zoo gates.  Each child will get a special prize at the end of the Fun Run and are welcome to walk the 1-mile walk with their family.  Kids who plan to run the 5k should register as adults.

JUST A SHIRT - Can't make it?  No problem, you can still purchase a shirt for $20 and support our great benefactors!  T-Shirts are a gender neutral preshrunk cotton/poly with a soft hand touch and run true to size.

SPECTATORS - All spectators at the race entering the Zoo will be required to purchase a special event ticket (even if you are a Zoo member) for $10.

We have three pre-race packet pickup options for you.  Click the location names for address info: 

Sunday 9/10 5:30-7:30pm @ Columbus Dream Center
Thursday 9/14 5:30-8:30 @ Chick-Fil-A Sawmill Rd

Monday 9/11 - Friday 9/15 7:30am-5pm @ the 104.9 River Radio Station

If you prefer to pickup on race day, you'll receive your zoo pass and bib (if applicable) at the start,
but please note that your bag and shirt will be available at the finish line.  

If you miss the event or simply purchased a shirt and are unable to pickup on the above dates, please make arrangements to pickup at the River Radio station after the event
